Who is responsible for your connection?

- Electricity Distributor: Owns and maintains the poles, wires and underground services that distribute electricity to homes and businesses.
- Property owners: Engages qualified trades to act on their behalf when looking to connect electricity supply to their property
- Registered Electrical Contractor (REC): Designs and installs building or apartment electrical infrastructure.
- Electricity Retailer: Sets up and manages your electricity account for the property
- Owners Corporation: Leads building level planning and decision making; approves and funds works on shared infrastructure or common property
